Amy Williams will be taking on a Triathlon during June this year.
Amy is a partially sighted, full time wheelchair user with cerebral palsy from Gloucester.
She will row 30 kilometres on a rowing machine, walk 13 kilometres using an adapted treadmill and cycle 60 kilometres on her tricycle to raise money for The Watershed Riding for the Disabled Group based in the village of Coates, near Cirencester.
The Watershed RDA is a member of the National RDA but does not receive any funding from them. The group is a separately registered Charity and all their running costs must be met from money they raise themselves. They have no administrative costs being run entirely by volunteers – so every penny raised goes directly to them and goes solely for the care of their ponies and the needs of their riders.
Amy rides her beloved Finn at Watershed. The Watershed RDA are thrilled to be supporting Amy in her inspiring Triathlon.
Amy comments: “Watershed is a great and safe environment where you can have fun and you feel part of another family. I am taught and helped by wonderfully patient coaches and volunteers. You will be blown away by what the team does and the abilities of the riders despite their disabilities. Once I get on Finn I forget MY disability. I love riding and want to help raise some money”.

Also, we at Watershed RDA would love to meet you all at our Open Day on Sunday 28th June at 2pm.
